The River Renewal
Sterling silver is meant to live with you.
It will soften, deepen, and darken as it collects your days — this is not damage, it’s wear.
When your ring feels ready for a refresh, I offer a renewal service to gently restore its natural shine.
Each Terragem piece can be sent back for careful hand-cleaning and polishing, bringing it back to life without erasing its story.
Because handmade pieces are meant to be worn — not replaced.

What can be Restored?
Sterling silver naturally changes over time.
Some changes are part of everyday wear — others are part of the design.
Below is a simple guide to help you understand what can (and cannot) be restored during the River Renewal.
Not Included in Renewal
- Structural damage
- Deep scratches
- Stone loss
- Resizing
Refer to the FAQ's if you any of the above apply to you.
If you’re unsure whether your ring qualifies, feel free to reach out beforehand!
A Few Notes

I look forward to restoring your piece — again.
✔ Restorable: Natural Tarnish & Surface Buildup
What it looks like:
-
Hasn't been worn for a while
-
Dull or cloudy finish
-
Surface darkening in spots
-
Everyday buildup from skin + air exposure
-
• Small surface scratches from natural wear
What happens during renewal:
Your ring is gently buffed, cleaned, and polished to restore its natural shine.
This is completely normal wear — and fully restorable.
✖ Not Removable: Oxidation
Pieces with oxidation are normally intentionally darkened. What it looks like:
-
Dark recessed areas
-
Blackened texture in hammered details
-
Depth contrast in crevices
These darker tones are part of the design and are intentionally preserved during renewal.
